Smart Deposit ATM Locations

Have you ever forgotten to deposit a check before the bank closes? Now you can deposit a check (and even cash) into certain First State Bank ATMs any time of day or night.

Our Smart Deposit ATMs can be found at the following drive thru locations:

• Athens Downtown
• Athens Tyler Street
• Mabank
• Malakoff
• Gun Barrel City
• Forney
• Corsicana

If the idea of giving your money to a machine makes you worry—or you’re just not sure how it all works—the following tips can provide reassurance. Remember, the trusted ATM is designed to provide convenient access to your funds whenever you need them.

1. Locate one of the FSB Smart ATMs listed above.
2. Insert your card into ATM, select language, and enter your PIN.
3. Choose the “Deposit” option from the main menu.
4. "Accept" or "Decline" the Funds Availability Disclosure*. 
5. Select which account you’d like the money to go to. Choose between "Checking" or "Savings".
6. Indicate whether you are making a check or cash deposit. **
7. Insert your check or cash into the machine when prompted.
8. Confirm the dollar amount you see on screen by selecting "Accept".
9. Answer any remaining questions, take your receipt, and make sure you have your bank card before walking or driving away.

*Deposits made after 3:00pm, on a weekend or bank holiday will be credited on the next business day.

** Cash and checks must be deposited in two separate deposits.
