Blake Laird

Blake grew up in Athens and graduated from Athens High School in 2004.  After high school, Blake attended Texas A&M University and was a member of the Corps of Cadets.  He completed his bachelor’s degree in 2008 earning a B.S. in Economics.  Blake would later graduate from The Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.

Blake started his community banking career in 2008 with First Victoria National Bank in Victoria TX. After five years of serving the Victoria and Corpus Christi markets as a lender, Blake moved to Centennial Bank in Kerrville, TX.  After missing home, he was finally able to move back to East Texas in 2017 to work for Austin Bank in Tyler.   Blake is excited to be back home and working for his first bank.

When outside of work, Blake enjoys spending time with his wife Ashley and their two chidren. He also enjoys fishing, hunting, and playing golf.
