Brandon started his banking career at First State Bank in May of 2018 at the downtown Athens branch. He has worked as the Credit Analyst for the past two years. His current position is Vice President/ Loan Officer.
Petersen was born and raised in Hallsville, TX and graduated from Hallsville High School in 2012. He attended Tyler Junior College before heading off to continue his education at Louisiana Tech University. He completed his bachelor's degree in Finance in 2016. Brandon recently married his beautiful wife, Dr. Lindsay Moore Petersen and they enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends in addition to his officiating high school football and basketball across East Texas.
