Brandon Petersen

Brandon started his banking career at First State Bank in May of 2018 at the downtown Athens branch. His current position is Vice President/ Loan Officer at the Forney branch location.

Petersen was born and raised in Hallsville, TX and graduated from Hallsville High School in 2012. He attended Tyler Junior College before heading off to continue his education at Louisiana Tech University. He completed his bachelor’s degree in finance in 2016. Brandon has been married to his beautiful wife, Dr. Lindsay Moore Petersen since August of 2020. They enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends. In his spare time, he officiates high school and college football in East Texas and the southern states. In addition to officiating, he is very involved in the community through different organizations like the Kaufman and Forney Chamber of Commerce.
