Lisa Bowen

Lisa started her banking career in 2011 as a part time Teller to help during the conversion of First State Bank and Bank of Mabank. She quicky realized she didn’t want to leave and once the temporary Teller position ended, she moved into the call center. When a full time Teller position at the Mabank branch became available, Lisa jumped on the opportunity to join the First State Bank Family permanently. In 2017, Lisa was promoted to Teller Supervisor and shortly after that to Universal Banker. In March of 2024, Lisa was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Asst. Retail Office Manager where she helps oversee operations at the Mabank branch.

Lisa graduated from Open Doors Christian Academy in 2005. Outside of work she enjoys taking cruises, road trips, and trail rides on ATV’s. Lisa has 2 children, Liberty and Lane Bowen. Lisa has also been a volunteer with Kaufman County Salvation Army since 2020.
