Mickie Wilson

Mickie embarked on her third career at the age of 50, joining the First State Bank family in January 2017 within the bookkeeping department. Over the years, she has held multiple positions, including Customer Care Representative and, since 2018, Loan Assistant at the downtown Athens branch. In March of 2025, she was promoted to her current role as Assistant Vice President, Loan Operations Officer.

In her spare time, Mickie enjoys spending quality moments with her family and finds joy in outdoor activities such as golf and horseback riding. Her affection for animals is evident through her care for her pets, which include horses, Brahman cows, and three dogs.

Mickie takes great pride in her work at First State Bank and values the relationships she has cultivated with her colleagues. She is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and assisting clients with their financial needs. Additionally, Mickie has been a committed member of Faith Fellowship Church since 2007.
