Rose Raines

Rose Raines began her banking career at the American Express Banking Corporation at the Rose Barracks Army Base in Bad Krueuznach, Germany at the age of 25. She then worked at the Sea Island Credit Union in Brunswick, Georgia before moving to Texas and joining the First State Bank family in July of 2012. Rose began as a part-time teller at the Tyler Street branch, where she quickly moved to the wire room, now known as the E-Commerce department. Rose was promoted in March of 2025 to her current position as Assistant Vice President/ Assistant E-Commerce Manager.

Born and raised in Virginia, Rose graduated from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. She is devoted to her church family, where her husband serves as the youth pastor. Rose teaches Sunday School, leads women’s Bible Study, and enjoys spending time with teenagers.

An amateur photographer, Rose primarily captures junior high and high school sports, especially high school girls' basketball, as her husband coaches and is the Athletic Director. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and going to the beach. Rose is married, has four daughters, and seven grandchildren.
